The Converse campaign “3 Artists 1 Song” is probably my favourite campaign from any brand at the moment. They’ve commissioned a series of songs where they bring together 3 artists with uniquely defining sounds from different genres, and create amazing mash ups.
They had a huge success recently with their song “Do Ya Thing”, where they brought together Gorillaz, James Murphy and Andre 3000. This has been the pinnacle of their campaign so far, and has used some of the highest profile artists on the planet.
Riding on the back of Do Ya Thing, a new track has been released with a collaboration between Kimbra, Mark Foster of Foster The People, and Kanye West’s favourite producer A-Trak. With Kimbra providing lead vocals, and A-Trak’s production taking obvious direction from Foster The People’s indie pop sound, Warrior has a unique sound that is a great representation of the campaign.
Here’s some scenes from the filming of the video.

The video, directed by Daniels, follows the 3 artists being entered into a Luchadores tournament and trying to escape whilst the song plays out. You can view it in all of it’s glory below, as well as download the MP3 straight from Soundcloud.
