I am a huge fan of the theatre, and part of the reason why I love london and live in London is the accessibility to see great theatre shows and enjoy the city’s cultural experiences.
Musicals are wonderful to watch in london’s spectacular theatres. The Jersey Boys musical is currently nestled in Soho, around the corner from Chinatown, which is easily accessible from Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square underground stations.
Jersey Boys follows the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, from when they formed as a group back in New Jersey in the 1950s, taking the audience on a journey with the band through their years of fame. The story of the band is moulded around their greatest hits, sharing the stories of each of their lives within the band and privately.
Jersey Boys is highly entertaining both in the storyline and music. What makes it so enjoyable is that many of songs I knew so well but didn’t know that they were originally sang by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. I couldn’t help but to clap my hands and move my shoulders to the music all the way through the show.
I recommend getting tickets for Jersey Boys, whether it be for a girls night out, date night or night out with your parents!
Have you seen the show? What did you think of it? And what is your favourite West End show? Let us know in the comments?
