Designer Wallace Campbell has created his own version of the Tron Light Cycle, and it’s pretty damn cool. The 1982 version of the film became a cult classic for it’s innovation, it’s stylistic progression, and it’s stunning visuals, and now Tron Legacy has been released under Disney with high hopes.
Whilst the film has had very mixed reviews, visually it is massively iconic. The light bikes and their trails will serve as some of the most memorable imagery of recent years, contrasting the bright neon colours on deep blue backgrounds.
Campbell has taken this imagery and put his own twist on it, retaining the key designs but tweaking the details to create something more personal.
