Two weeks ago we announced a competition to win tickets to see one of the world’s most exciting up and coming artists, Hoodie Allen, performing in London this Sunday. Today we are able to announce the winner of that competition who will be lucky enough to win 2 free tickets to the event.

Hoodie has had one hell of a year with his debut album entering the Billboard charts at #10, and topping iTunes digital downloads with the #1 album in the US. Despite having numerous digital releases, this was the first time Hoodie has ever charged for his music and the reception was phenomenal.

Since then he has gone on a huge global tour, touching every point of the USA and finishing off with gigs in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Dublin. We have been working closely with the artist for years, having conducted a Hoodie Allen interview nearly 2 years ago and supporting his career ever since.

Therefore, it seemed like a no brainer for us to offer these tickets to our loyal readers and support one of our favourite artists in the process. For that reason, I’m pleased to announce that the winner is…

Daniel Gronner

Congratulations to Daniel for winning the tickets. Him and a friend will be attending the o2 Academy Islington next Sunday for the sold out gig.

For those who missed out, we will be following up with a review of the gig some time next week, so make sure to come back and check out the site! We will also be running further competitions in the future, so if you missed out this time you may be in luck for the next one. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter to hear all of our latest news and events.

If you’re going to the gig and would like to meet up for a drink or a chat, let us know in the comments! 4 of our writers will be attending, as well as Daniel and whoever he chooses to take with him.
