This autumn we see heritage footwear brand Clarks Original remix their iconic styles, the Desert Boot and Wallabee, two true staples of a proper menswear wardrobe. Collaborating with some of the most well respected brands, Clarks have made some classy alterations to the now well understood silhouettes of their classic shoes.
My favourite shoe from the collection is the collaboration with Jaguar Shoes, the navy corduroy outer coupled with the stripy interior makes for an interesting shoe, though perhaps not properly suited to the sodden British summer.
Another interesting piece is the collaboration with Velour, the Swedish brand have influenced the shoes with the Scandinavian focus on utilitarian wear, but coupled with a perfect aesthetic to boot (pun intended).
You can expect to see all of the shoes featured on the Clarks website over the coming months. What do you think of the collection? Did any of the shoes stand out? Let us know in the comments!
