Kenzo and Vans have collaborated for the very first time, and they are pleased to announce their first collection for this summer 2012 – Kenzo x Vans. The new shoe collaboration is based around one design, and the assortments that come with the new signature designs are almost endless. The prints are based around Kenzo’s vibrantly coloured Fishnet Print Collection for summer 2012, which saw Kenzo use this print for their women’s summer collection. Vans have gone all out for this new collaboration. Using their famous and original laced skate shoe for this new range; expect outlandishly loud, vibrant and funky colours from these new skate shoes.
Set for release in three different intervals across June, July and August, the first instalment of colours will feature colours from Kenzo’s Spring/Summer 2012 runway. These will include; electric royal blue, white, green and red toned colours. The assortment of colours used for the new designs, will broaden as new colour combinations are released throughout the summer – all shoe designs will be available for both men and women.
“Since our childhood in suburban L.A., we’ve been fans of Vans and own too many pairs to count! Vans is one of the iconic American brands and we liked the idea of infusing this bit of American style into the house of Kenzo.” - Kenzo
