Here’s another beautiful teaser trailer from the world of video games, this time for the latest Hitman game.

The opening scene shows a group of Nuns walking towards Agent 47s motel room in an aggressive fashion. Fans of the series (knowing that Agent 47 was trained by Monks) will realize that these are not going to be your average sisters of the cloth.

There is no real storyline to this trailer it is simply visually stunning, the minutest of details from papers whipping by in the wind to the tatoos and pores on the characters faces are included. Couple this with equally impressive animation and you could be forgiven for thinking this was a new action film half the time. The only thing that just holds the visuals back is the inclusion of cloth clothing, these garments are of notably lower quality than the rest of the materials which is a shame as otherwise the visuals would be damn near perfect.

A small plot point worth noting is the blood seeping from Agent 47s trademark bar-code tattoo, perhaps suggesting he (or someone else) has tried to deface it in some way? Or perhaps the newest game is based soon after he received his identification, something which could explain the caption at the end.

Do you think Hitman Absolution will get the same reception as Max Payne 3 or will it’s release fall on deaf thumbs despite this amazing trailer? If you’ve got an opinion either way let us know in the comments.
