Award winning game Half-Life has been a huge inspiration for many budding film makers in the past few years and spawned great shorts like What’s In The Box and Escape From City 17. The latest short to join these greats is Beyond Black Mesa, directed by Brian Curtin the film follows our hapless hero Adrian Shephard.
The independent short was filmed by seven friends on a staggering tiny budget of $1200, which is amazing due to the amount of detail and how polished the short film felt.
