We’re a little bit slow on this as we’ve been so busy recently, but it seemed a shame not to post it. Mansome is an upcoming documentary from Morgan Spurlock with Will Arnett and Jason Bateman looking into the modern age of metrosexuals, male grooming, and the continuously evolving definition of manhood.
Obviously, given that we cover fashion and art and a load of other “metrosexual” things, we have a vested interest in this kind of documentary, and the team behind it only adds to the intrigue. Morgan Spurlock is best known for his work on the documentary Super Size Me where he received an Oscar nomination, and this is his biggest project since. The trailer feeatures a wide array of recognisable faces, including the afore mentioned Arrested Development stars, Zach Galifianakis, Paul Rudd, as well as Isaiah Mustafa from the famous Old Spice commercials.
The film was released 2 days ago in America and has not had a UK release date yet. What is your view on being “mansome”? Does it mark the death of manhood, or is it an inevitable evolution of mankind? Let us know in the comments!
